Talent Acquisition Manager

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to manage an efficient and effective 360 recruitment process as we embark on expansion across our teams. Reporting into the People & Culture Manager, this role will work closely with the wider team and hiring managers to grow our teams across all of our departments. We’re looking for someone who has a people-centric approach to recruitment and is passionate about providing a positive candidate experience.
The Talent Acquisition Manager is key to growing our teams with candidates that fully embody our mission and values. This role will recruit for positions across all functions at the company, from journalists and content producers to tech roles and finance. This role will thrive in creating a welcoming environment for our candidates that reflects our culture and values.
Responsibilities
Manage our recruitment process from start to finish, from drafting job descriptions, shortlisting, interview scheduling, reference checks and employee contracts
Proactively source and engage top candidates across the UK
Work to constantly improve our candidate attraction and experience
Keep up to date with our recruitment tools and ATS system
Support our DE&I strategy, ensuring our recruitment process is at the forefront of change and progression
Work with the People & Culture Manager and COO to support our people strategy
Work across the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding, offboarding, professional development and training needs
Build and maintain talent pools through networking and headhunting
Maintain relationships with past candidates to build a PinkNews alumni
Attend recruitment events to grow our brand awareness and industry presence
Support in managing our recruitment partnerships, programmes, kickstarter schemes, internships and apprenticeships

Skills and Experience
Previous experience sourcing and hiring talent
Experience recruiting for a variety of positions and seniority, with a clear understanding of social, content and journalism roles
Previous experience managing an ATS system preferred
Confident in leading a 360 recruitment process
Comfortable leading interviews and assessing candidates with ease
Experience in company growth and working across expansion plans
Good Google Suite skills and Microsoft Office

The Package
Salary from £40,000 - £50,000 DOE
